TIE renewal – next big issue facing thousands of Brits!

TIE Exchange for UK nationals resident in Spain and protected by the Withdrawal Agreement.

In July 2020, Spain started to issue TIE cards for UK nationals who were resident in Spain. Those who were granted temporary residence were given a card that was valid for 5 years.  The first batches of those cards are now coming up for renewal.

Check the expiry date on the front of your TIE NOW!

You can then add the dates in your diary for when you can renew:

30 days before the expiry date and 90 days after, however, we have been advised that most Policia Nacional offices will not accept renewal appointments until after the expiry date of the TIEs.
