Help Change Lives for the Better
By fundraising for Age in Spain, you’ll help provide vital friendship and support to older people when they need it most.
Here’s what your fundraising can achieve:
- €50: Trains an Infoline volunteer to offer caring, timely support to those facing challenges such as the loss of a partner or care needs.
- €100: Covers a home visit to a vulnerable, isolated person, helping them access essential services to maintain their health and independence.
- €500: Provides weekly Friendline calls to a lonely older person for a whole year, bringing companionship and reassurance.
Every effort makes a real difference. Raise money for Age in Spain, and we’ll be here to guide you all the way.
Fundraising Stories
We are three keen Camino walkers, Graham, John and David, who supported Age in Spain by walking a route on the the 1,400-kilometer Camino from Almeria to Santiago de Compostela. We helped to raise money to provide vital services for older English speakers who live in Spain.
Getting older, wherever we live, brings change and challenge! Keeping active and contributing to our communities helps us to give back and ensure maximum independence in later life. But sometimes, everyone needs a helping hand - this is where we and Age in Spain step in!

I volunteer with Age in Spain. As a Friendline volunteer with Age in Spain, I know just how much my once a week call to a lovely lady in Tenerife helps to make her smile. She is housebound, so our regular calls break up the monotony of the four walls. I also fundraise for Age in Spain - my keep fit teacher was delighted to donate our class fee to Age in Spain to help keep the Friendline Service going strong.
We don't have a physical presence and whilst the other local charities do an amazing job of raising money and supporting people in need, we fill in the gaps through the Infoline and support services - particularly for those living away from a large community. I’m proud to be part of an organisation that can provide support and guidance across the whole of Spain and the Islands.

I volunteer with Age in Spain in my spare time. I am part of the casework/advocacy team that helps vulnerable people who are going through difficult life changes. I am also a member of my local Campestre Arts Group which runs an annual arts fair, whose members give a small percentage of their sales to Age in Spain. Thanks to the generosity and support of our artists and the public in 2024 we donated 2440€.
